Visa and sponsorship

It is a requirement to have valid work rights in Australia to work as a registered nurse.

HealthX employs and sponsors international registered nurses under the TSS (subclass 482) visa with transition to ENS 186. This is your pathway to permanent residency in Australia.

Following successful screening, we collect your documents for your visa and migration submission
We present you to our healthcare client partners and you receive a placement offer
We submit your visa application - average turnaround for TSS visas is 2-4 weeks
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

To work in Australia as a nurse, you must have an Australian nursing licence and be registered through the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).

The AHPRA process can be confusing, so we will guide you through every step.

1. We identify the fastest pathway for your AHPRA registration
2. We explain any Australian nursing examination and English language requirements
3. For nurses with 'Approved in Principle' status, we finalise your full registration
4. The average AHPRA processing time is 3-6 months
