New South Wales (NSW)

New South Wales is a south-eastern state distinguished by its large coastal cities, stunning coastline and many national parks.

Sydney, its capital, is home to icons such as the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

A number of HealthX New South Wales partner facilities are in major coastal regional towns a few hours north and south of Sydney, offering surfing beaches, excellent schools and recreational activities for a high quality of life.

Queensland (QLD)

Famous for the Great Barrier Reef, endless beaches, rainforests and theme parks, Australia’s holiday state Queensland is a much sought-after destination for the perfect work/life balance.

HealthX has partner facilities in Brisbane, in coastal towns just 2 hours north and south of the state capital, and opportunities in central and north Queensland.

Northern Territory (NT)

The Northern Territory (NT) is a vast federal territory in Australia famed for its outback desert landscapes.

Darwin is the capital, and its biggest central town Alice Springs is the gateway to Red Centre country with the iconic sandstone monolith Uluru (Ayers Rock), the red-rock domes of Kata Tjuta and the sculpted cliffs of Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park.

HealthX has partnering facilities in the state capital Darwin and regional centres of Katherine, Alice Springs and Broome.

Western Australia (WA)

Western Australia, covering the entire western third of the country, is made up mostly of the arid outback.

However, the population is concentrated in its fertile southwest corner, home to the Margaret River wine region and the bustling riverside capital, Perth. In the far north, the Kimberley region has ancient Aboriginal rock art, the Bungle Bungle sandstone domes and Broome with its legendary pearling industry.

Australian Capital Territory (ACT)

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) is home to Canberra, Australia’s modern-day built capital city.

Located between Sydney and Melbourne, the ACT and Canberra offer forests, farmland and nature reserves, major arts facilities, and world class museums. The city’s focal point is Lake Burley Griffin, filled with sailboats and kayaks, and Canberra is close to Australia’s snow skiing fields.

Victoria (VIC)

Victoria is an old and well-established state in southeast Australia, with its state capital Melbourne offering a thriving cosmopolitan lifestyle, with restaurants, bars and a central arts precinct, along with international sports events.

The landscape encompasses mountains, national parks, wineries and surfing beaches, with the Great Ocean Road following the coastline west to Port Campbell National Park, famous for the Twelve Apostles limestone stacks on the edge of the ocean.
