For you, as an international nurse our onboarding team manages the visa sponsorship process and works closely with you to ensure a smooth relocation and transition to Australia through our Soft Landing Program.
This program provides you with a dedicated employee care specialist to assist in your relocation and transition to Australia. When relocating we ensure you and your family are well integrated into your new community and workplace.

Our unique services
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
To work in Australia as a nurse, you must be registered through Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). To be considered for a role with HealthX you must be registered with AHPRA. All of the information on what you need to submit and the process can be found here.
- Your overseas qualification needs to be equivalent to an Australian Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum
- Your application has to be downloaded and posted to AHPRA in Australia.
- The average processing time is 3-6 months.
- If your application is approved you will receive “in principle” registration. You must then present in person to an AHPRA office in Australia within 3 months to finalise your full registration.
- Once your application has been processed you will receive eligibility / in principle letter from AHPRA advising you to attend of their offices in person in Australia to finalise your registration. (you have 3 months to present in person)
