Caloundra is 90km (90 minutes) north of Brisbane via the Bruce Highway and Caloundra Road. 

It is a coastal town in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland, with a population of 51,095 people. The area is known for its easy lifestyle, excellent surf beaches, quiet waters in Pumicestone Channel, and as an ideal location for fishing and water sports. 

Climate

Caloundra has a humid, subtropical climate, with average temperatures ranging from 21°C to 28°C in summer and 11°C to 21°C in winter.
