Where can I work as a GP through HealthX?

We offer roles across metro, regional and rural areas, from coastal cities in Queensland to high-growth regional centres in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. DPA locations are available for IMGs requiring a moratorium-compliant placement.

How much can I earn as a GP in Australia?

Earnings vary based on location and billing model, but most GPs placed by HealthX earn between $250,000 and $350,000+ AUD per year. You’ll typically receive a competitive billings percentage (commonly 65–70%) and access relocation incentives from some clinics.

Do you offer visa sponsorship for GPs?

Yes. We support both the Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482) and Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186). HealthX manages the entire process for you and your family, including paperwork, timelines, and documentation.

Can I work via telehealth?

Yes, if you already hold General Registration with AHPRA, some clinics offer telehealth consulting options. This can be a great way to ease into practice or maintain flexibility while you relocate or settle in

Do I need to hold AHPRA registration before applying for GP jobs through HealthX?
